Free Flash Games

Hi all so I’m back at work now, and just on my lunch break! Thought i would write a quick blog post to with everyone a happy new year. I had a great new years eve. Went down to london to a friends part and caught up with a lot of friend si havent seen in a while, so it was fun!
Just been playing a game i came across the other day called snow kids, which quite a good little games. You have to avoid these kids who are throwing snow balls at you as you move along the platform. This is the kind of flash game i’d love to be able to make when i’m able to create such things

So I hope you’re having fun stuffing your faces with turkey and all those lovely things we eat at christmas time. I certainly am, and a bit too much :S Was hoping it would snow today, but no such luck. The weather peeps said there was a small chance, and being the kid that i still am, its the first thing i checked as i got up
So, if you were wondering ti didnt’t manage to do my flash game challenge, that i set back on November. I was having trouble making the plat forms. I got some enemies moving and killing my player character, but was getting a bit stuck making the guy move on the platforms :S Oh well, in the new year, i’ll give it another go!

I’ve been making a bit of progress in my flash game challenge. I have it now so that i can move my character and he dies when hitting an static enemy. Wahoo!! I’m getting some where
Someone suggested the fhm site to me for decent games, but alot of them seem to be games ive come across before! Oh well there’s some decent games on there such as raiden x and some more war games, which ive grown to love. There’s even a couple strategy games on there such as shadez, so maybe there are more types of games out there than i though. Cool

So i havent really been messing with flash much of late, but before i had my trip to spain, i’d been doing quite a bit. Ive learnt some simple actionscript, so i’m able to move thigs with key presses now. Woot! Now i need to step up a gear so i can create some fun flash stuff. I think i need to set some sort of challenge for myself, to push myself to learn how to make said fun stuff.

The cahllenge i’m going to set myself is to create a simple non scrolling platform game, where you must travel up 3 platforms and avoid the baddies. This is going to be quite difficult to achieve, but i beleive i can do it! Ive signed up to some flash game forums such as Flashkit.com, so i can asks plenty of qustions when i get stuck. My deadline will be 23 december, so wich me luck!

I’m really loving War games lately. There are so many great games out there in this genre, especially shoot em ups. Been playing alot of Commando lately, which is a Ramboeque type dealie where you’re a lone solider (with a bandana ), who must kill an onslaught of enemies as you progress in the level.

Another of those free flash games i’ve been playing is war game called shadez, which is a well polished strtegy game that you don’t come across everyday. Probably because they take alot of effort to make and get into as the player. But this one is pretty easy. It’s a turn based war stratgey game, with only a few pices to move each turn. as you progress, you have have more pieces to move, plus new war type vehicles that you can build in factories. Quite a fun game, that i’m sure i’ll be playing alot!

Got back yesterday! Was a lovely holiday and got to see teh staidum Didnt get a chance to see a game, but oh well - maybe next time!! I needed a holiday after all the stress at work, so it was good to just enjoy myself
So, i played a few games today, but didnt come across anything new and great worth mentioning. Had a few goes at some more funny games, but they were pretty lame, so i wont recommend them Anyone know any decent sites that only show good games? I need help here!!

So i’m off on holiday today WOOHOO! Taken some time to go to Madrid, and while there i hope to visit the bernabau stadium, which i’m really looking forward to! Maybe I’ll even catch a game while i’m over there. I’ll be back 2nd November, so I’ll probably get a chance to post the following day

Not usually a big fan of this type of game, but i had fun playing bloons The aim of the game is to pop all the balloons with a given set of arrows. It’s quite challenging and addictive. Simple graphics but i like! If yet get some Free time why not give it try - it really is a fun flash game to pla!

Been ill for the past few days, so i’ve been laying about watching dvds alot. Played a few free flash games in between, as you’d imagine Lately I’ve been playing alot of this space game i found on FMH called spaceship ranger The graphics are pretty cool and you can tell alot of efforts been put into the game, by the maker. Give it a go!
